Teams take turns. Change the word in brackets so it fits the gap. A correct answer climbs one rung; a wrong answer slides one rung down. The higher you climb, the harder the words get: rungs 1–3 are warm-up, 4–6 are tricky, and 7–9 are expert. The first team to reach rung 9 wins.
